Vegetable balls

These vegetable balls are non deep fried  yet very delicious. They can be made quickly as a evening snack and are so tasty  that they disappear in minutes. Are also great for kids lunch box. You can easily add the veggies of your choice  and enjoy a quick and healthy snack!

 

Ingredients

  • Potatoes  – 2 (chopped)
  • Carrot  – 1 (chopped )
  • Spinach – 1 tbsp. (chopped)
  • Onion – 1/2 tbsp. (chopped)
  • Salt- to taste
  • Cumin powder  – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder — 1 tsp
  • Italian seasoning – 1/2  tsp

Instructions-

  • Heat water in a Saucepan
  • Add Potatoes and carrots and boil until soft
  • Drain and mash very well
  • Add Spinach and onion, mix well
  • Add all the dry masalas, mix well
  • Make small round balls
  • Heat and oil the paniyaram, appam pan or takoyaki pan
  • Add the balls to the pan
  • Spread a little oil if required
  • Turn and cook from all sides until golden brown
  • Enjoy!
