Papad ki sabzi is popular in Rajasthan India. This is a quick and easy version but tastes awesome. I use moong dal papad for the best taste. Papad ki sabzi comes in handy when you don’t have vegetables in your house and is traditionaly made in curd and tomato gravy. It is also rich in protein since Papad is made with lentils/dal.
Ingredients
- Moong dal papad- 1
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder – to taste
- Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Salt – to taste
Instructions-
- Roast the papad on flame
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and salt
- Add 1/2 cup of water
- Break the roasted papad and add into the pan
- Cook until the papad is soft and water almost evaporates
- Serve and enjoy with chapati/roti/parantha
