Tortilla Pizza|Onion, Broccoli, Spinach and Tomato Pizza

Tortilla pizza

For the days when you feel like eating pizza but don’t want to wait for getting it delivered, A flour tortilla can be a great base to make a quick pizza lunch or dinner. This is a recipe for a very satisfying, healthy and crispy pizza made using flour tortillas baked to crispiness.

I topped it with garlic, onion, broccoli, spinach and some tomatoes. Great for a quick fix delicious meal that’s ready in minutes. I baked it on a baking sheet but if you like your Pizza very crispy, you can bake it directly on the rack.

For the topping

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/4th cup onion – roughly chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic- chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli- cut into small pieces
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp tomatoes- chopped
  • 1 cup spinach- chopped
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oregano – 1/2 tsp
  • Flour tortillas
  • Pizza sauce

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add garlic and onion
  • Stir for few seconds
  • Add broccoli and cook until the broccoli becomes a little tender
  • Add spinach and mix
  • Cook for few seconds
  • Add salt and oregano
  • Mix everything well
  • Keep aside for the topping
  • preheat toaster oven to 425°F
  • Place one tortilla on a lined baking sheet
  • Spread some pizza sauce evenly on the tortilla
  • Spread a layer of mozzarella cheese
  • Add a layer of cooked toppings
  • Add some chopped tomatoes
  • bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly brown
